Today we had health with Miss Selleck. In reading, we started our new novel "The Missing 'Gator of Gumbo Limbo" by Jean Craighead George. We learned about combining sentences in language and retook our post test in spelling from last Friday. In math, we learned a new math game for division and had a pretest for solids. We then went to music with Mrs. Olson and had study hall. Be sure to bring in any Box Tops that you have at home!

We reviewed multiplication and did a subtraction riddle assignment. We ended the day with music and study hall. WE finished our weather posters and watched a "Bill Nye" video on climates. Then we read chapter 5 of "Riding Freedom" and worked on our booklets. We had our post test for spelling and then had a multiplication fact math assignment. We ended the day with art and Brain Pop!

Then we reviewed subtraction and learned a rounding game called "Drawing A Round". We ended the day with music with Mrs. Olson.

We also wrote letters to our parents explaining how we do snack and that each student must bring 2 boxes of snack each month. We started our "Original Works" art projects today too! We are almost done reading our novel in reading class and did a review lesson in language. This week's homophones in spelling are pretty tricky! Then we created maps of our homes as in introduction to chapter 2 tomorrow.
